Adam Bio

Born and raised in Beloit, WI, my roots are in the Stateline area. I have an awesome family that I am so proud of and I am proud to be raising in our Stateline community.

In my twenties I worked in the restaurant industry and that is where I knew I enjoyed working with others and did not want to sit in a cubicle for my career. In 2003 I took a leap of faith (with some encouragement from a great friend) and I passed my state insurance exam. I worked primarily with life insurance and enjoyed helping people secure their financial futures. Nine or ten years later, that same friend talked to me about Medicare. He told me about the huge need for quality, dedicated brokers to help Medicare beneficiaries understand Medicare. I decided to travel to his house in Texas so I could shadow him and visit with some people on Medicare. I found that the confusion most people have when it comes to Medicare is mindboggling. I immediately knew that I needed to change directions and focus on helping in the Medicare field.

This lead me to start the Extra Help Agency. I focus on all aspects of Medicare with my clients, not just enrolling them into a Medicare plan. I have found that there are programs built into Medicare that help with the cost of prescription drugs and health costs. I make sure to review this with everyone I meet to make sure nobody slips through the cracks. I am passionate about this because I know members of my own family could have benefited from these programs but they never realized the programs were available. They didn’t know how to find out about them or how to access them. The lives that I have been able to help change just by providing information and guidance has been life changing for myself as well. I am proud to work with Medicare beneficiaries and I love what I do.
